The much anticipated Forestry Indaba, which the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) will be hosting jointly with the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (George Campus) from 13 to 15 July, will bring together a range of stakeholders from the forestry and related industries.

Wednesday 9 July is Africa Day at the XIV World Forestry Congress. Visit the Africa Pavilion and enjoy high-level panel discussion on forest and forestry development issues in Africa followed by a press conference. Deliberations at the Africa Day will be largely based on the issues emanating from the pre-congress conference organized by the African Forest Forum.
